Mike Epps is generating an extraordinary amount of buzz among his peers for being not only one of the funniest comic actors in town but also for his burgeoning dramatic talent.
One of Mike鈥檚 recent projects includes Season Five of the Netflix comedy 鈥淭he Upshaws,鈥 which he stars in and executive produced. Mike is also in the 2024 Amazon MGM comedy 鈥淭he Underdoggs鈥 along with star and director Snoop Dogg, George Lopez, and Tika Sumpter. Epps鈥 seventh stand-up special, 鈥淩eady to Sell Out,鈥 premiered on Netflix in February 2024, with New York Times calling him 鈥渦nquestionably a star鈥.
He is also currently on a national stand-up tour. Since 2000, Epps steadily climbed his way up the stand-up comedy ranks when he was recognized by a national audience in 1995 for appearing on HBO鈥檚 Def Comedy Jam (which, years later, he would go on to host). During a performance at LA鈥檚 Comedy Store, Epps caught the attention of Ice Cube. Epps has been seen in over 40 cities and three continents doing standup.
