Saturday Academy
As an extension of the WIRE Math and Science summer camp, the Saturday Academy will continue to promote the healthy growth, development and learning of your child and give them an opportunity to academically engage with their peers outside of school throughout the year.
The primary goals for participating in the WIRE Math and Science Saturday Academy are to give children an opportunity to:
- Gain a deeper understanding of math and science by focusing on number theory, problem solving, and algebraic expression;
- Increase the students level of confidence by reducing the fear and anxiety associated with learning math and science;
- Connect classroom learning to real world application.
